Although it is reasonable to ask that
I verify bugs I have reported, I think it is unreasonable to expect that
I will do so. If a bug is important, I think it is in the interest of the
development team to verify it. If it is not important, then I think it
would be acceptable to post a comment in the bug asking that the reporter
verify the bug. If they decide not to, I think it would also be appropriate
to close the bug after a certain amount of time has ellapsed. I don't think
it is appropriate to continually send people emails asking them to verify
bugs they have reported.
In my particular case, verification
is not trivial since I do not use WTP on a daily basis and the WTP from
the update site is not compatible with the latest Eclipse 3.3 builds which
is what I use. I logged the bugs while doing some Calisto wide testing
but had moved on to other projects before the bug were fixed.
Just my 2 cents...

[wtp bug] Reminder - Please verify resolved
bugs
Thank you for reporting the bugs that you found in WTP. One or more bugs
have been fixed for more than two weeks [1]. Please verify the fixes using
the latest 1.5.1 build [2]. Reporting and verifying bug fixes is an important
way to improve WTP and we appreciate your contribution.
