[wtp-dev] J2EE smoke test passes after workarounds applied and new patch for 116700

I dropped a fix to the org.eclipse.jst.server.websphere.core plugin to fixup the server def file.

I was able to create a server and finish my scenarios after this.

In addition to this defect, I opened
116700 - I was unable to create an IBM Websphere Runtime which we require to finish our smoke tests.

[wtp-dev] Web services smoke test FAILED with I200511161051

With the 1116_1051 I-driver, I was not able to use the Dynamic Web project wizard to create a Web project targetting Tomcat.  I've created blocker defect 116671 (https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=116671).  Chuck is aware of the problem and is looking into it.  Apparently, this function was fine in yesterday's driver.

Needless to say, Web services smoke test FAILED.  We need this problem fixed before we can proceed to even smoke test.

[wtp-dev] I200511161051 is "good to go" for sniff test

reminder to please sniff test by noon (eastern) and report go/no go for our M9 candidate (the
criteria is that it works well enough to justify continued testing).

Do not be alarmed by the JUnit failure. This was for a new test we've added (no regression) and
is a simple problem with the "package" specification. I've released a fix, and am re-spining the build ... we can't have any red X's!
But this fix/respin should not effect any function or require any re-testing. before planned noon declaration.,
