[wtp-dev] Nomination for committer status: Amy Wu

I am honored to nominate Amy Wu to become a committer for the Eclipse WTP
project.

Amy (amywu@xxxxxxxxxx) has contributed fixes, documents and substantial
designs for
WTP editing since (before) WTP started. Since WTP has started, she's
contributed
at least 100 high quality patches as attachments to bugzillas. She's also
very active on the newsgroup,
responding to at least 30 queries in the past 3 months. In addition to
fixes and code cleanup, to name
just a few examples, she's been behind the new files wizard templates in
WTP, she's moved us to
use the base provided "hotlink" API (instead of providing our own
mechanism, as we had to do before).
Most recently, she's pushed the effort to provide "configuration"
extension points so that our
WTP editors can be "added to", instead of subclassed. (She's also
implemented folding for our
editors, but is waiting for me to fix our document notifications before we
make visible in WTP). She's
also helped greatly by providing high quality bug reports (and sometimes
patches) for many
other teams in Eclipse.

And, most importantly she helps keep me sane by politely reminding me of
what I need to do next :)

All in all, she's well shown the skill, dedication, and responsibility to
be a committer in WTP. _______________________________________________
