Has the ability to build the docs separately been added back to the build? We'll need a separate doc build for 0.7.1 and I would like to have a current doc build if docs will not be added back to the M9 build right after M8.

Just so everyone knows all the same information ...

our "WTP M8 candidate" is ready for testing. See

http://download.eclipse.org/webtools/committers/drops/S-1.0M8-200509171158/

and pick the one for the OS platform you need.

It does includes fixes that fixed Friday's failing JUnit tests and the "servlet creation" blocker 109767

Note: we will not rebuild M8 candidate automatically, but only on request (send note to wtp-dev with
bugzilla number and document in the bugzilla why critical, what the impact is, etc. .... business as usual).

Note on 3.1.1  - please use 3.1.1 base while testing!!!

While we are still building with the 3.1 released versions of base Eclipse and pre-reqs,
as far as I know we are 100% binary compatible with 3.1.1 base and updated pre-reqs.
(and we'd better be!)

Since we'll be moving up to 3.1.1 based builds immediately next week, and

since the platform is "freezing" 3.1.1 quite soon!

I'll suggest teams use a 3.1.1 install base to test with
this week. This week is basically our last chance to report any problems

or regressions.
See  http://www.eclipse.org/eclipse/development/main.html
for details of platform's 3.1.1 plans.

Here's the list of the latest, near final, 3.1.1 streams:

http://download.eclipse.org/downloads/drops/M20050914-1235/index.php

(pick right OS platform, and tests framework, and releng tool if using for dev.).

Note on docs:
This M8 candidate build does not  include the docs

(since we changed build process "late in the cycle").
We'll get those back in for M9.
