Re: [wtp-dev] SDK builds.

I think a single WDE feature is the simplest way to go. Use this for any code that is useful to WTP plug-in developers. Maybe this is where our Javadoc should go.

Hi Naci,

I agree, but it may be overkill to create a new WDE if we're the only team that plans to have content. (STDE - server tools development environment? :) ) I'd also like to get this code checked in and available for this milestone if possible, so that we can get some feedback and help out external teams that are building servers.

Does anyone else have any comments? If we do start a WDE, how do we begin - bugzilla against releng to create the features & packaging?

Thanks,

Re: [wtp-dev] SDK builds.

It sounds like this plugin is a tool for people who would extend wtp, but
not a part of wtp runtime.  Therefore wtp-sdk is not a good place for
it.  SDK is wtp with "sources".

However, we can have a sub-component for  WDE, wtp-development-environment
:-), not totally unlike PDE, where this could live.  It is also possible to
have a seperately downloadble component at the downloads page.
