[wtp-dev] Re: Bugzilla 87401

Hi Naci,

The strange thing is... I took the source of the same page and dumped it onto my local server, the php scriptlet is rendered correctly... For some reason, the download server is not recognizing

<?php
...
?>

as something that needs to be rendered... As a quick test, can you remove:

<!doctype html public "-//w3c//dtd html 4.0 transitional//en">

from the build page and see if that makes any difference. Btw, just so everyone know, this does not affect the links on the page. The problem is you'll see weird characters showing up on the page.

Jeff,

All those files are copied over.

My guess is:

The extension of the files is html, not php, but even after I chnaged it to .php it still only partially processed.  There must be something wrong with the script.

Hi Naci,

Would you be able to copy the files over? Or do I have to contact the webmaster for that? Btw, I just notice that the N20050309 build page is not showing up correctly:

http://download.eclipse.org/webtools/downloads/drops/N-N20050309-200503092150/index.html

For some reason, the php scriptlet is not rendered... I'm pretty sure the download server supports php because the main download page is rendered correctly:

http://download.eclipse.org/webtools/downloads/index.php

Do you know what's the story there?

Hi Jeffrey,

You are right.  They need to be copied over manually.

Hi Naci and Ozgur,

I've just added a dashboard summary for the reports (compile log, junit test results, API reports) that are produced as part of the build process. For more details, check out bugziall 87401:

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=87401

As part of this change, there are six files being added to the /home/webtools/org.eclipse.wtp.releng/dropSiteRootFiles directory. I just want to make sure that these files will show up on the main download pages because I can't find any reference to the "dropSiteRootFiles" directory in the build scripts. I assume this directory will be "copied over" on the actual build machine. Is this true?
