Hi Craig,

The biggest reason we moved many of these plugins to "wst" was because datatools, webservices, and other compoents depend on many of these plugins.
I agree we should look at consolidating some of these plugins moving forward if possible, but many of these already have ui/jdt/emf dependencies that limit
the ability to collapse without creating new dependencies downstream. (Feature level components).

Hi Chuck,


I noticed a lot of new plugins have been contributed to the 'common' component.   I know one of the goals of the WTP project was to minimize the number of plugins we provide.  Do you have any plans to consolidate some of these plugins?   Are there other teams that depend on these plugins other than the J2EE tools?
