[vtp-dev] Another scripting topic

I've been doing some preliminary testing with the new 1.6R6 rhino javascript
engine (we use 1.6R2).  It appears that everything still works.  This change
would offer a much broader support for the javascript language features and
built-in functions.  Anyone have a problem with making this change?
Otherwise, I'll throw the CQ together this week.
