[ve-dev] Termination Review concluded for VE Project

I've been informed by the EMO that the
Termination Review for VE has been deemed successful, meaning they had
no objections nor received any counter proposals from the community, so
we will proceed to the next steps in archiving the project, as detailed
in bug 346887 [1]. 

I would like to express thanks to all
the committers and Project Leads, past and present, that made VE what it
was ... a great visual editor that many have found useful, and which, probably,
spurred on the development of other visual editors in the industry that
wanted to compete in this space. 

For open source software projects to
wax and wane is quite normal and part of the natural life cycle of software.
If, in the future, anyone ever wanted to revive the project, feel free
to submit a new project proposal (for a creation review) and write it as
though it really were a new project, and simply mention that part of your
plan is to reuse VE as the starting point.
