What do you mean by release as the maven release is not full working with Tycho. If you are using the tycho versions plugin, it is know that it does not update versions in the update site descriptor

Hi Vincent,

as you know, the pom and manifest.mf versions need to be equal.
There is a tycho-versions-plugin that can update all pom's, manifests and feature.xml's.

The invoke should be something like this:
mvn -Dtycho.mode=maven
org.eclipse.tycho:tycho-versions-plugin:set-version -DnewVersion=0.0.6

Maybe there is a better way of doing this..
