Re: [tycho-user] Creating an aggregated product with Maven/Tycho

Thanks everyone for the replies. I was looking for the root-level features, the "install a product defined elsewhere" is not a requirement for our case.

Thanks for the reminder to bug 361722, unfortunately the patch in https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=361722 seem already a bit old, so I assume it is not planned to implement this feature in the closer future, correct?

Best regards, Lars

So you want to install a product defined elsewhere (no bug yet) plus root-level features (https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=361722 ).

Both features are not implemented. For the former it would help to have an bug/enhancement request, so that you (and whoever wants that feature) can vote and/or watch.

Tobias

Subject: [tycho-user] Creating an aggregated product with Maven/Tycho

Hi,

On EclipseCon where was some discussion about creating an aggregated product with Tycho for example the Eclipse SDK including EGit.

Something similar to the current b3 aggregator approach.

Is this already possible with Tycho only or do I still need to use the p2 director or b3 as a second step?

Best regards, Lars
