Hi all,

The ant version of the p2 mirror tool supports a special <comparator> option - see http://help.eclipse.org/helios/index.jsp?topic=%2Forg.eclipse.platform.doc.isv%2Fguide%2Fp2_repositorytasks.htm. As I understand it, this can be used to avoid copying large external update site when you just want to create a new updated version of your own aggregated mirror site.

I think this is a different use-case than the one given in https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=401162, as I "just" want to avoid copying external artifacts, when I have a perfectly good local one, but ...

Is this possible with the existing mirror task? E.g. via the additionalArgs configuration element?
