Yes, please open a bug report. Authentication is expected to work for
.target files with multiple locations.

Thanks a lot for the fast answer. Adding the ids didn't work here, and
after a lot of experimenting I found the reason.

Your solution works only for one single <location> declaration within a
.target file. Since I use more locations (three currently), I had to
merge all my locations to a single one, containing all my different
<repository>s and <unit>s, and than it works. Looks a little goovy now
within PDEs Target Editor (because Elements are grouped by locations
there, not repositories), and I'm not sure if this is correct.

Maybe you can give some additional comment on this (maybe it is worth
opening a ticket?). Thanks again,
