I've been using Tycho for since May, and I love it.
Yesterday I ran into an issue that I don't comprehend. I don't even know if this is the correct forum to help me, but I'm hopeful.
I have deleted my .m2 directory. This might have been a mistake, but I read that it's a good practice to occasionally do this in order to ensure that my builds will work on a clean machine.
and left it running when I left for home yesterday at 5pm... when I returned to work this morning, it was still running.
The output repeated a message like this over and over again.
[INFO] 1 operation remaining.

....
and so on.
I really don't know what could be causing this.
I have a build server (Jenkins) that runs the build with the exact same project successfully. The only difference is that I didn't recently delete the .m2 directory on the build server.
