Re: [tycho-dev] release 2.5.0?

That sounds good, I can try to help with the release I created:

https://github.com/eclipse/tycho/issues/293

so it is possible to check steps that are already done in the ticket and will start with checking the milestone.

Hi,

I have planned to start the release process on Thursday.
The steps are described here; almost all of them can be carried on by any Tycho committer. The only one that requires extra permission are the ones about Nexus, but since we have dropped the "test staging release" step in favor of "test snapshots", no interaction with Nexus is necessary before the testing week completes. Doing a release is a relatively safe operation to perform: it brings no risk of data loss, and it's relatively easy to recover/fix/redo in case something went wrong. So if you want to start taking care of the release, that would be welcome, just share your plans and progress here to prevent collision.
