I'm well aware of the request but there is a major rewrite of tycho resolver ongoing and we needed some time for it to stabilize. It seems to be descent state now so https://git.eclipse.org/r/c/tycho/org.eclipse.tycho/+/176206 should be what you need. Once gerrit verifies it I'll push and it should be available tomorrow in tycho 2.3.0-SNAPSHOT.
