[tycho-dev] Proposal to get rid of org.eclipse.tycho.nexus and org.eclip

Hi all,

Tycho was used in the past as some incubator for other technologies that are not really related with the scope of the project.

2 Git repos are leftovers of those experiments:

* https://git.eclipse.org/r/plugins/gitiles/tycho/org.eclipse.tycho.nexus

* https://git.eclipse.org/r/plugins/gitiles/tycho/org.eclipse.tycho.targeteditor

Those repositories were not touched for more than 6 years.

To facilitate the maintenance of Tycho, I think it's better to just drop those components and repositories from Tycho.

Interested parties would still be free to continue working on them as they prefer and where they prefer, according to EPL and Copyright rules, but not as part of the Tycho project (ie they can fork, and move code).

Is there anyone against removal of this "load" from Tycho's shoulders?
