Hi,

My name is Maxime Maurin and I am currently on an internship at ALL4TEC, in France. My objective is to improve the development tools used by the company to adapt them to their needs. One of their requests is to add a feature for Tycho (directly integrated into the application build lifecycle). Currently, when the developer team update the target platform (mounts), the version of the plug-ins on which the application is dependent are not automatically updated in the application's Manifest files.

I'm going to develop a feature to keep the Manifest files of the application updated when the target platform changes. Is this a feature that the community might be interested in? Is it interesting idea, once finished, to commit this modification to Gerrit?
