On Behalf Of Bernd Hufmann Hi all, The Eclipse 2019-06 simultaneous release is approaching fast (June 10, 2019) and I would like to share the plan for Trace Compass for this release. Trace Compass project will release version 5.0.0 for Eclipse 2019-06.
This release includes API clean-ups that were communicated on the mailing list [1]. Feature Freeze: The feature freeze will be together with the RC1 build of Trace Compass. RC1 build will be taken on the morning of Wednesday June 05, 2019 from branch master. This means that any feature that you want to be part
of the 5.0.0 release should be reviewed and merged to master before June 05, 2019. Release branch stable-5.0 will be taken from master right after the same day. Only bug fixes, documentation updates or JUnit tests should be added on this branch afterwards. Release Testing: We’ll execute a set of manual test cases to ensure that the features are working properly. Please let me know, if you'd like to support us in the release testing. Release Notes: The New & Noteworthy page can be found here [2]. At all Trace Compass committers, please add all relevant items that you provided for this release.
