+1 from me, too.

But, what is the status of "moving the code" out from "sequoyah"?
It seems this move is not done yet.
In terms of "Git repo"? (If not done yet, can you include a note in your release materials as to when it will be done?)
This move does not affect Git repo (see https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/tools.sequoyah/reviews/termination-and-restructuring for details).
Plus, I assume you are not using "sequoyah" in your package names, are you?
MTJ does not have packages with "sequoyah" in names.
If so, I actually believe that should be fixed before a "release" of the code ... though, not sure of your reasons for "Nov. 17th" and not sure you could do it by then?
Releasing MTJ by Nov 17 is critical for Oracle Java ME SDK 8.1 release.
Bugzilla could be done later, after a review, bug, should be done soon, IMHO.

Discussion regarding 2.0

https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/tools.sequoyah.mtj/releases/2.0

Please, review the release record of MTJ 2.0 and approve the release
from PMC side if everything is OK.

Thanks,
    Alexander.
