Hi David, The way I see it , MinGW relates to Titan the same way as e.g. Linux: it is “only” being used to compile Titan, during which, of course , some MinGW libraries
will be made part of the executable. However, we don’t intend to distribute Linux, and we don’t want to distribute MinGW either. On the other hand, maybe I was wrong and this is not a “works with “ but a ‘prerequisite” dependency,
As it Is very similar to the Windows XP example in the “Guidelines”
A prerequisite may be classified as "exempt" by the EMO if the software is pervasive in
nature, expected to be already on the user's machine, and/or an IP review would be
either impossible, impractical, or inadvisable. Exempt prerequisites can be approved for
use by the EMO without IP review. Examples: Windows XP, Sun JRE. However, an
exempt prerequisite may be disallowed by the EMO at its discretion.
I’m not sure it would be practical to review MinGW ; please advise how to continue. Best regards Elemer

On Behalf Of David M Williams This doesn't sound like a commonly "happens to be installed anyway" sort of component ... so not sure why it wouldn't be reviewed and distributed?
