Just to clarify, is this a request against the multi-thread library and not all
of MinGW? Which file out of the MinGW distribution are you talking about.

Also not all MinGW distributions are created equal. I know of two others than
the official one from mingw.org, i.e. equation.com and MSYS2/mingw-64. Which
one are you specifically using.
