Likewise, as the Orbit project lead.  The only concern I have is reproducing old builds.  This move adds some overhead as the build scripts/map files all need to be updated in the past before you can do a build.  Having said that, +1

As a plugin that falls alphabetically *after* hyadies (and cdt :-)),  
we would heartily support such a cleanup.
