[tools-dev] Problems to import preferences

Hi all,

I am using Eclipse with a Mac and I have problems to import my preferences.
The export seems to work fine, but starting the import a SWTException is thrown
and no preferences become imported.
This is really annoying because I always want work with the latest version but
I hate it to lose my preferences all the time.
Is there any change to copy the preferences by hand?
