Hi there,

 

To associate a *.gif file to an external program do the following:

 

Window->Preferences->Workbench->File Associations

   o add a new file extension.  i.e. *.gif

   o at the bottom of that window choose you application you wish to associate the   *.gif with, click on Add->Browse->External Program and find mspaint.exe (usually in %WinDir%\System32).
