Re: [tm-dev] terminal repo

Hi,

Regarding the original question:

> It looks the terminal build has been split into two parts, remote and everything else. Can whoever did this explain how they are planning to
> include both these in the 4.0milestones update site so they can be picked up by the simrel build?

The "nightly" repositories are composite repositories and so must be the 4.0milestone repository. Just put the 2 repos, "common" and "remote" below 4.0milestones and create the compositeArtifacts.xml and compositeContent.xml files. That's the way it is/was supposed to work. The simrel build will never know that there are two repositories.

Why do you say that we inflict any pain on the community? For Terminal, we do release the entire stack from the Mars build. All other jobs are for compatibility verification only and of interest for the Terminal committers only. The community does not need to know how we organize our repositories. As I wrote above, to the community and the simrel build it all looks like a single repository, just as before.

Best regards, Uwe :)
