Re: [tigerstripe-dev] Ganymede cut-over: COMPLETE

Title: Re: [tigerstripe-dev] Ganymede cut-over: COMPLETE
Hi Richard,

Thanks for the update. A) and b) below don’t look too bad to fix.
As far as the dialog button changes.... Which one(s). Must be an Eclipse change ?

Hi All,

after a long tortuous download,

I have run the ui tests and have the following items :

a - Dependency Ends do not get any names in the explorer.

b - Sessions do not get an icon in the Explorer (OK the test didn't spot this, I did :-))

I had to change one test where the dialog has changed form a Yes/No to OK/Cancel !

I am also having a bit of trouble with an Audit check that I do.... that might be me...

Other than that it looks OK.

(Not done Diagram tests yet)

Ok, so it looks like we’re back to having a nightly build as well.
I’ve just downloaded the bundle, installed on a blank Ganymede instance... And did some rudimentary testing... And it “seems” to behave.

Let’s see the how the automated UI tests behave (I’ll try to hook them up in the build tomorrow)..

Hi All,

I’ve just committed the changes to  support Ganymede. Most of the problems were related to the Tigerstripe  Explorer and the fact that we rely on some internal APIs of JDT for  refactoring and Drag-n-Drop.
I fixed the changes (managed to get rid of  some of the internal API dependencies but not of all of them).
As part of  the migration I also updated all the plugin manifests.

The actual list  of plugins to check out in your local workspace to develop is the same as what  you had for Europa except for a potential change in the list of annotation  related plugins. However, I need to double check with Yuri here. However, this  should not affect the way annotations currently work with  Tigerstripe.

To set up your development environment follow the  directions on http://wiki.eclipse.org/TigerstripeDevEnvironment  or basically:

If  you want to use buckminster and do it by hand pick up all the plugins in the  plugins/ dir of our CVS repository (avoid  org.eclipse.tigerstripe.annotation.resource.ui.refactoring until I hear back  from Yuri).

Ok... Let me know what I just  broke...

Eric
