Re: [technology-pmc] WG: Request assistance for Eclipse IoT-Testware

The "Milestone and Release Builds" page was not created and is not maintained by the Eclipse Foundation. This is, I suppose, the danger in sharing a wiki with project teams (My best guess is the Eclipse Triquetrum project). I've added a warning to the page.

Regardless, connect directly with the Common Build Infrastructure (via cbi-dev) to get help with builds.

As a matter of practice, always start with the handbook.

Dear Wayne,

We are preparing our first Milestone build and came up with some question.

The Eclipse documentation [1] provides a build using Hudson, but we doubt the information are up-to-date. Because we’ve found out, Jenkins is used to create builds. Ist he Jenkins introduction [2] the updated version to create a new build?

Another point is our project structure. We have separate repos for the different communication protocols. The question is, create a cross-repo milestone build? Is that even possible or how is the process in this case?

Thank you in advance.

Best regards,
Sascha
