Thanks Eric. IIRC we need a second +1, and someone from the PMC bringing it before the Planning Council, correct?

As commented on the ticket, the fix is in commit https://git.eclipse.org/c/mpc/org.eclipse.epp.mpc.git/commit/?id=fce01a165ac0e2f7873f21c3f03441726e335534 and a new release available on http://download.eclipse.org/mpc/drops/1.6.0/v20170616-0843. Also, I've pushed a gerrit review for the simrel repo update at https://git.eclipse.org/r/99514.
