Hi PMC members, just a bit of info: This and the following maven-resolver-* CQs are needed so that Eclipse Code Recommenders can move from Eclipse Aether to the Maven Resolver. (The Aether project got terminated at Eclipse [1], but continues at Apache.) While there have been no code changes since the move away from Eclipse (the reason why we stuck with Eclipse Aether so far), moving to the Maven Resolver now allows us to fix a rather nasty bug in the MANIFEST.MF of Eclipse Aether. This bug causes lots of bundle resolution failures in at least two Oxygen M6 EPP packages [1]. :-( Hence, it would be great to have maven-resolver-* in Orbit for Oxygen M7.
