A project lead election for Nikhil Nanivadekar on project Eclipse Collections (technology.collections) was started by Hiroshi Ito with this criteria: Since becoming a committer, Nikhil has continued to make significant contributions to Eclipse Collections and very proactive on reviewing pull requests, answering issues in addition to code contributions. Nikhil has been also a very active advocate for Eclipse Collections and he is going to present the framework to the wide range of audience in Devoxx US and GIDS in Bangalore. Nikhil has been driving the projects by managing both 8.1.0 major release as well as 7.1.1 and 8.0.1 service releases, and he has proven himself capable of being a lead of the project.
