Re: [technology-pmc] Fwd: IP review for copied fiel from other eclipse project?

If the determination is made that cross-project copying/forking within
eclipse.org requires an IP review, this information needs to be broadly
communicated. Based on what I've seen, many/most/all projects are operating
on the assumption that IP review is not required in this case, based on the
reasoning that the code already has undergone an IP review. Of course, there
is a corner case of copying code that's undergoing parallel IP review...

Thanks,

- Konstantin

Hi Sharon,

the current case just uses a single file. But I am more interested in a
generic guideline how to treat this topics in the future.
We are talking about this commit:
https://git.eclipse.org/r/#/c/52926/

best regards
Christian
