Re: [technology-pmc] Fwd: [CQ 9678] Asciidoctor Version: 1.5.2 [build-only]

My only concern was what's in comment 7 of the CQ, which mentions some CSS code that's included in the generated HTML. That CSS is licensed under the MIT license; as mentioned in https://eclipse.org/legal/eplfaq.php#3RDPARTY , MIT is an approved license for re-distribution under EPL.

tl;dr: +1 from me.

I believe that the use of Asciidoc to generate documentation is perfectly reasonable, and since there is no intention of distributing Asciidoc itself, I believe that this qualifies as a build and test dependency.

PMC members: your +1 is required.

Thanks!

Wayne

Hi: That's correct although it causes our electronic workflow to become
uncooperative so there may be some noise as we go through the process.

Over to PMC for discussion/vote on Build/Test Dependency Workswith!

Thanks,
Sharon
