The Lyo project would like to request a works-with dependency for the jsonld-java library. We can use this library if it's there to support the JSON-LD media type [1], but will degrade gracefully and fall back to other media types like XML if the library is not present. We have no plans to redistribute the library.

JSON-LD is becoming increasingly important to the W3C LDP [2] and OSLC [3] specifications. Lyo provides toolkits for implementing these specifications, and consumers can include jsonld-java along with the Lyo libraries in their projects to get this capability.
