I decided to poke harder at Voice Tools.

The project lead is long gone. They've removed themselves as a committer and have become unresponsive to emails.

I did manage to get in contact with the one remaining committer. He has been somewhat active with the project and feels that he can increase the activity and work toward a release. If we believe that this is acceptable, then I'll further request that he plan to spend some effort growing the project community (naturally).

I'm inclined to give the project a chance at survival.

Thoughts?
