Tod, you're not a committer on Babel (unless the Foundation database is out of
date)

Strictly speaking, in order to qualify as "under the supervision of the PMC",
an existing project committer needs to have been involved in the effort. Based
on some entries in the project mailing list, it appears that Kit has been
involved since the get-go, so you're in good shape.

For completeness, if you and your co-op students had built this and then
dropped it on the project without their prior knowledge and involvement, we'd
have to treat it like an outside contribution since it wouldn't meet the "under
supervision of the PMC" requirement.

FWIW, your involvement in this makes me very confident that the code is (a) top
quality, and (b) observes our IP rules.
