IPZilla 2316 is the one in question. this was part of the change analyzer and we have been working to remove it in favor of JAXB but it will not be done before 1.0 closes.

Hey Mark. Can you post questions intended for the Technology PMC to the
technology-pmc@xxxxxxxxxxx mailing list? (this way, we have a
pubic/transparent record of what's going on). I'll leave it to you to
move this discussion there with your response.

I need more context. Why are you removing Tuscany? Can you point me to
mailing list entries. I don't see any records in IPZilla concerning the
use of Tuscany by COSMOS. I assume that you'd need one of those if any
Tuscany code is going to be in any release...
