Re: [tcf-dev] [tcfStamp] TCF Update 1.1.0.201307140237

Thanks Eugene,

We are already “ignoring” it by adding it to the XML validation file. When we will get the fix into the release we’ll remove it from the XML.

Regards,

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

tcfStamp was added in

Bug 395876 - [breakpoints] watchpoints read/write settings not editable after watchpoint is created:

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=395876

tcfStamp is used by Eclipse internally, and it is not supposed to be transmitted over TCF channel.

It is a bug, I’ll commit a fix. Workaround is to ignore the property.

Thanks,

Eugene

Subject: [tcf-dev] [tcfStamp] TCF Update 1.1.0.201307140237

Hi All,

We experience a problem while updating on TCF 1.1.0.201307140237.

The problem is with a specific parameter on Breakpoints service (set, load) called tcfStamp.

Can someone explain what’s the meaning of this parameter and why sometimes comes as string : “true/false” (with commas) and sometime as bool : true/false (w/o commas).

We didn’t found it documented on http://git.eclipse.org/c/tcf/org.eclipse.tcf.git/plain/docs/TCF%20Service%20-%20Breakpoints.html so we assume is new.

We have validation on parameters and we need to know what’s the type of this property, string, bool or object, but we can’t find any info.

Thanks,

Daniel
