Nevermind my last question. Sorry.
I found it. It’s in /swtbot/devtools/oomph/SWTBot.setup
(It’s apparently not in the projects imported into the Eclipse workspace, but it’s in the working tree, nevertheless. I found it via oomph git repo ;)
Hi Patrick,
Thx for the update.
Can you tell me where I can find the Git repo with the SetupModel for the Oomph wizard? Maybe I can help you there.
Ingo
Hi Ingo,
I'm sorry, we have neglected to create targets for the recent releases since Photon. We'll try to get to it soon.
I'm expecting that we will do a SWTBot release of 2.8.0 for 2019-06.
Patrick
Hi Aparna,
thank you for your answer.
I use 2019-03 as target platform - as it’s the next release (RC1 is already available).
Photon is rather old (June 2018). Is there a way where I can update the SetupModel for the Oomph wizard for SWTBot so that it fits 2019-03?
Also, I’ve seen that some bugs have been fixed after the SWTBot release of 2.7.0. Is there a release plan for SWTBot?
Thank you in advance.
Ingo
Hi Ingo, Which target platform you mention on the 'Variables' (3rd) page? Photon (default option) or 2019-03? SWTBot's latest target is Photon. Please try Photon target and convey your findings. Regards, Aparna
Hey Folks,
I want to setup a dev-Eclipse for SWTBot - and I’m following the guide
I use the Eclipse-Committer Eclipse IDE and select SWTBot on the second Oomph wizard page. (OpenJDK 11, Eclipse 2019-03)
Now, when Eclipse starts up and performs all the tasks from the Oomph setup model, the Modular Target cannot be created due to this:
ERROR: org.eclipse.equinox.p2.director code=10053 Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found. ERROR: org.eclipse.equinox.p2.director code=0 Software being installed: artificial_root 1.0.0.v1551994586097 ERROR: org.eclipse.equinox.p2.director code=0 Missing requirement: artificial_root 1.0.0.v1551994586097 requires 'org.eclipse.equinox.p2.iu; org.eclipse.nebula.widgets.nattable.core.feature.feature.group 0.0.0' but it could not be found
How do you solve this problem? Or don’t you use the Oomph wizard to setup Eclipse for SWTBot?
Thanks in advance, Ingo
