RE: [subversive-dev] JavaHL 1.5.0 Win32 Binaries are still Subversion1.5.0, not 1.5.2

Hello Tony.

Yes, we really have a reason of not including the 1.5.2 binaries in
Connectors distribution.

I've already told about it in the newsgroup while announcing the latest
release.

"PS: we are not using JavaHL 1.5.1 and 1.5.2 due to the following issues
found in that libraries:

Best regards, Alexei Goncharov.

Subject: [subversive-dev] JavaHL 1.5.0 Win32 Binaries are still
Subversion1.5.0, not 1.5.2

We replaced the Subversion 1.5.0 Windows dll's with Subversion 1.5.2 Windows
dll's, and our results with Subversive in our Eclipse-based application
seemed to be much improved- developers stopped reporting Subversive crashes.

Ever since then I've been watching for a Subversive update to include
Subversion 1.5.2 dll's. However, I see the latest release (20081001) still
contains the same Subversion 1.5.0 dll's as before.

Is there some reason you do not update these dll's to Subversion 1.5.2?

Info:

These are the files libsvn_*.dll, in folder
eclipse\plugins\org.polarion.eclipse.team.svn.connector.javahl15.win32_2
.0.3.I20080814-1500. We have used the 20080814 and 20080902 Subversive
builds; we currently use Subversive 20080902 with JavaHL and the Subversion
1.5.2 Windows dll's.

Our application is an extension of Eclipse 3.3.2 with Java 1.5.

We do not use the SVNKit connector with Subversive, because as of late
August, it did not work correctly in our application- see
http://www.eclipse.org/newsportal/article.php?id=802&group=eclipse.techn
ology.subversive#802

Also: if there is a better forum for this question, please feel free to
direct me to it. I did not find anything at Polarian's website, but maybe I
missed it.

Thanks very much.
