I'm certainly for flexibility in source code control choices, but the
main sticking points for me are

1. Tooling support from Eclipse - is eGit good enough?
2. Our build system having support for it - are there Buckminster
plugins available to clone etc?

I'd be ok with voting for Git to be part of the source code control
choices we have, but I can't vote for STP using it unless I can
be sure that the tools are available...
