It looks like we have 4 new components in the pipeline for STP.
1. SCA Visual Composite Editor
This is an editor that has been created by Obeo to construct
top-down SCA composites.
2. Cimero 2 Enterprise Integration Patterns Editor
This is an editor for Enterprise integration patterns that has a
generation framework attached that can produce standard
JBI 1.0 components for deployment
3. SOA Policy Editor
We have a contribution from IONA and a contribution from
SOPERA that allows editing of WS-Policy standard documents
and assertions. The IONA contribution is a form-based editor
that integrates representations of the policy instances with
documentation. The SOPERA contribution is an extension
of the WTP WSDL editor and usuals a similar visual metaphor
for interactions.
4. SOA Metamodel
This is a small but very interesting contribution from Engineering
and INRIA - they have put together a model that subsumes and
extends the SCA model to include representations of the
infrastructural nature of JBI and the process-style nature of BPEL
and BPMN. This will be a very useful addition to the project.
Unless I get -1 from you Alain or Carl, I will ask the Eclipse webmaster
to provision four new components in the STP. While most of the source
code is going through the IP process at the moment, I want to have the
CVS components ready to rock as soon as the code is approved.
best regards
Oisin
