Re: RE : [stp-pmc] some input from the field...

So, when someone talks about JBI integration - what should this
mean to us? Certainly we should take advantage of any work that
is going on in WTP that allows deployment to a JBI container,
but what, in your mind, would really constitute a JBI 'integration'?

Hi Oisin,

Some of these topics are quite consistent with current activities and
goals of ObjectWeb community (JBI integration, BPEL editing, wsdl2java
and java2wsdl especially).

Cheers,

I recently had a conversation with a gentleman who works for a large
(around 52000 employees) integration and services shop and asked him the
sort of thing he would expect of STP. Here are his answers. I'm very
interested in what you think.

-JBI integration (I saw that that is already on your list) -BPEL
editing + debugging -WSDL from/to Java, out-of-the-box generation of
WS from Java (like
in Axis2 - don't know how much of that is already provided)
-perhaps integration of a JMX console
-some debugger for WS, similar to the one in the FUSE Eclipse
plugins (see end of this presentation: http://
devzone.logicblaze.com/site/how-tos.data/ContractFirst.swf)
