I agree this can always be the case with a generic name such as the SOA Modeling Framework, but this is always going to be mentioned in the context of Eclipse. In addition, I think the SOAML could in fact be one of the target/sources for transformations for Mangrove if people start using it in Eclipse editors and want to interoperate with other things. So hopefully although some people might get confused initially due to the name (generic terms), they'll quickly see the obvious differences (eclipse framework vs omg language).
