I've managed to fight around the issues with OpenFire. We now have a OpenFire
3.6.2 running live with all the correct settings. There are no groups being
pushed by default, so you will have to add groups or people yourself. I have
tried to outline how to do this via a wiki entry:

http://wiki.eclipse.org/Xmpp.eclipse.org

Feel free to modify the wiki entry if you come across an easier way to do
things.

It's been awhile, but thanks to everyone who helped make this happen. I hope
this helps our Eclipse committers collaborate more.
