Re: [stp-dev] STP Tutorial Proposal - BPMN / SCA / IM
|
Hi.
Adrian Mos a écrit :
Hi guys,
As often happens at these conferences, good ideas emerge, and one such
idea is to propose a tutorial at Eclipse CON combining [at least]
BPMN, SCA and the Intermediate Model. Such a tutorial would show these
subprojects (and component) from STP in a coherent manner. It would
demonstrate BPMN and SCA and their interaction through the IM. Not
sure whether we could show the Policy as well (no transformations
really implemented, could we have something by then?).
If it can't be used with STP-IM, it still might be with SCA.
On Tuesday was quickly mentionned the will to use the policy editors for
SCA policies.
But using the policy editors just to edit SCA policies (in the tutorial)
might be seen like a "restriction", since they are intended for a more
general use. It all depends on how it is introduced.
So the idea is to show people how using the STP code-base, they can
work on an SOA application and integrate different artefact through
the IM.
We need to submit a proposal by Monday November 24th, so we need to
organise a quick call to get feedback from the interested parties. I
have set up a Doodle page where you can (very quickly) express your
preferences for a Friday afternoon (European CET time) conference
call. I will arrange for a phone line as soon as I have your
preferences. After we discuss, I can prepare a small abstract to
submit (we can always revise our abstract AFTER the submission
deadline, this is no problem, I have confirmation from the Eclipse
people).
