[stp-dev] Anonymous read access to svn?

Is anonymous read access to the svn via http already possible? I tried the url

http://dev.eclipse.org/svnroot/stp/trunk,

but that does not seem to work. If we want to enable read access for non-comitters, should we not enable that?
