Re: [stp-dev] Eclipse Summit Presenation slides
|
Hi Antoine,
I'm working together with Adrian Moss on the STP Intermediate model
proposal.
I'm writing this post because, i see your post and it seems that we've a
common interest to
produce intermediate model from Stp Bpmn Editor ( very good )
As you know the IM stp subproject is in approval state, but we've just
start to work
on integration between stp bpmn editor and IM.
I used the information on how to extend the Bpmn Editor with
Annotations, and i've used
to start to work on a prototype.
Basically the idea is:
1) To design the process at high level with stp bpmn editor
2) To use annotation to bind bpmn activity to IM Service, ServiceBinding
3) From the annotated bpmn model generate the intermediate model
Maybe this could sound interest. Let me know.

Hi Adrian,
sorry for the delay, here are our notes:
BPMN modeler component: reaching for stability.
- complete support for BPMN-1.0 shapes and BPMN-1.1: more shapes and
connections.
We currently support most of the shapes of BPMN 1.0, to the exception
of the group shape.
We plan on supporting the additional shapes that have been brought by
BPMN 1.1 (especially the differences between catch and throw event
shapes).
- Usability: insert space tool, layout, connections.
We want to make the tool very simple and usable.
- Community driven: annotations to link to the STP
intermediate-meta-model.
Good luck for your presentation.
