EBOLA

Death Toll Passes 11,000 Mark
11,005 people have died of Ebola, WHO reported, but the number of new cases has dropped.

Unless any new cases appear before May 9, the WHO will declare the epidemic over in Liberia. New cases have also declined in Guinea and Sierra Leone, with 9 new cases reported in each country last week—the lowest figures in almost a year.

In the 3 West African countries combined, 26,593 have been infected in all.
