The notes appearing below report on items discussed during today’s call. As announced earlier, there was no fixed agenda. Please note that there will be NO call next week STEM Community Call February 14, 2013 On Call: Jamie, Matt, Stefan, Kun, Werner, Matthias, Chris, Judy NO CALL NEXT WEEK No fixed agenda this week Items discussed Jamie: Almaden STEM team still working intensively on demo project; have special session next Thursday, so no call. Judy will send out notice to all next week on Monday as usual Matthias: In mid-March, will present STEM at a bioterrorism workshop for federal agencies, others, in Germany; wants copies of slides from Jamie, Stefan & Matt for possible inclusion; they will send today Jamie: Wants to share Matthias current project via web conference; hopes to show @ other meetings, co-author w/ Matthias, BfR Werner: STEM got 5 out of 6 votes (Werner, 7th judge, abstained) for modeling prize before ruling that official Eclipse projects couldn’t run; will re-send email to Jamie reporting this Chris: Inquired whether Matt wants to commit Mime he, Chris, is working on. Matt: Chris can use jar file; can drop in directly as a plug-in. Matt: Can offer advice but not sure how Eclipse handles 3rd party dependencies |
